Details This new full time post is available immediately for a maximum duration of four years and offers exciting opportunities to develop research, teaching and clinical care in Cardiovascular Medicine at Norwich Medical School (MED), in conjunction with the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH). We are seeking to appoint a clinical lecturer (Specialty Registrar level post MD/PhD by the start time) in cardiovascular medicine to work under the supervision of Dr Vassiliou within the Cardiovascular Division at UEA. The post is open to any cardiac subspecialty including intervention, imaging, heart failure, devices and adult congenital heart disease. The appointee will be encouraged to develop their own research portfolio, and initially they can support existing projects currently undertaken in the academic cardiology department on heart failure, imaging or intervention. The post-holder will have skills, experience, and research interests in cardiovascular research with a track record of publications which will The successful candidate will have an MD/PhD in cardiovascular medicine and hold (or be eligible for) an NTN. If the candidate’s thesis has not been submitted by the application closing date, then they are ineligible to apply in this round. Successful candidates may not take up their post until their PhD or MD has been fully awarded.
