Details An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancaster Medical School, a department within one of the top ten UK universities and the Times University of the year 2018. The department has exceptional student satisfaction scores and the institution was awarded Gold in the recent Teaching Excellence Framework. This post offers an opportunity to join a committed team at this exciting stage in the expansion of a new medical school. As part of a broader commitment from the University and its NHS partners, the University are seeking to appoint a clinically-active senior lecturer to contribute to the next phase of the development of Lancaster Medical School. This position is jointly funded and offered in association with Trinity Hospice, with you spending half of your time working for each organisation. You will lead and participate in research teams and academic initiatives across the university in research areas aligned with the University’s research strategy. Working at Trinity Hospice, the Clinical Commissioning Groups on the Fylde Coast and Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will support the delivery of safe and effective palliative and end of life care across the local community.
