Details NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Child Health and Genomics Clinical and Experimental Sciences Location: Southampton General Hospital Salary: 46,208 Per annum Full Time Fixed Term for 4 years Closing Date: Friday 12 January 2018 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: 925417FC-R Funded by NIHR, the University of Southampton, together with the University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust, wishes to appoint an Academic Clinical Lecturer in Child Health and Genomics.The post-holder will be pursuing his/her development of research and teaching within the relevant Academic Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton.The post-holder will also have clinical commitments at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust that will lead to further clinical skills required for specialist training and leading to full registration within the specialty. The post is intended for an applicant within the specialty of Paediatrics and Child Health and who has a research interest in genomics applied to paediatric medicine. The applicant will have a higher research degree (or have submitted for such a degree) and appropriate research experience. The post is subject to terms and conditions of service determined by the University of Southampton and in its honorary clinical capacity by the University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust Board. *Please note: successful applicants will be appointed to a different salary range (32,478 to 57,444) if they were at ST3 on or before 2 August 2016.
