Details Academic Clinical Lecturership in Neurosurgery or Neurology or Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery NUFFIELD DEPARTMENT OF SURGICAL SCIENCES or NUFFIELD DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCES or NUFFIELD DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDICS, RHEUMATOLOGY AND MUSCULOSKELETAL SCIENCES Applications are invited from the listed specialties for one post under the NIHR Integrated Academic Training Pathway. These are fixed-term, 4-year posts which offer excellent opportunities to undertake high quality research within a clinically excellent environment and to undertake clinical work towards gaining a CCT. In addition to the NIHR funded post available, locally funded posts may also be awarded in parallel, subject to funding and assessment against the stated criteria for the role. Applicants should be medically qualified, ST3 and above, have full GMC registration and already hold, or be close to obtaining a PhD/DPhil/MD. Any successful applicant must be able to take up his/her post no later than 31 March 2018. The post will be from the following specialties: Neurosurgery or Neurology or Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, based in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences or the Department of Clinical Neurosciences or the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences. The salary for the Academic Clinical Lecturer will be confirmed according to qualifications and experience and where necessary in line with current pay protection arrangements in the NHS.
