Are you looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Registered General Nurse to join our team to assist in the delivery of fertility services at NURTURE based at the Queen’s Medical Centre. NURTURE offers a wide range of fertility treatments, particularly IVF, aiding hundreds of couples to achieve the joy of parenthood, actively undertaking relevant research projects and clinical trials. We are currently looking to recruit an RGN, preferably with experience in a gynaecological area and wishing to further develop their skills in a specialist area. A comprehensive induction programme with the opportunity to develop professionally within a specialist area will be provided.
Candidates should be able to work as a member of a team, but also under their own initiative, with the ability to perform venepuncture and cannulation. They must also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide professional empathetic care and support to patients under psychological stress.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of one year to provide maternity leave cover and is open to job share. Hours of work are full-time, however, applications will also be considered for part-time. Secondment opportunities may also be considered.
It is a condition of this post that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
